Is this easy to set up? I'm not technical at all.
100% plug and play. Plug in the power cord, press the power button — done. It auto-starts in sound-activated mode and syncs to any music playing in the room. No app, no wiring, no programming required. The remote lets you switch modes from your couch.
What room size works best for this light?
The Room Transformer is designed for rooms up to about 350 sq ft — living rooms, garages, basements, home studios. The 540° rotation and 135° tilt cover every corner. For larger venues or full 360° dual coverage, the Ultimate Pack (2× lights) is the right move.
What's the difference between 1-pack and the Ultimate Pack?
One light covers a room very well on its own. Two lights positioned on opposite sides give full 360° saturation — beams hit every wall, ceiling and floor from both directions. If you're throwing a real party or want maximum impact, the Ultimate Pack at $259.99 saves you $20 vs buying separately.
Do I need to know DMX to use this?
Not at all. Auto mode and Sound-Activated mode work the second you plug it in — no knowledge needed. Remote control lets you change effects and speed from anywhere in the room. DMX512 is available for professional setups, but most home users never need it.
Can I mount it on the ceiling or does it have to sit on a table?
Both options work. Two mounting brackets are included in the box — no extra accessories needed. You can hang it from a ceiling truss, mount it on a wall, or just set it on a table or shelf. The dual-axis movement covers the room either way.
Is the laser safe?
Yes. The Room Transformer uses Class IIIA red and green lasers — the standard safe-use level in all consumer party and DJ lights. Do not aim directly at eyes and keep away from young children. The unit is CE certified and safety tested.
